What is coming next

Update 4 opened WhoVille — the place that had been sitting in the list as Christmas — the same way Update 3 turned Fnaf into the Pizzeria. Still only names: Maze and a place called Minecraft. One announcement event, Verity And New Map, hasn’t opened yet.

Five maps are playable right now: School, Mines, Play Place, Pizzeria and WhoVille. The rest of this page is about the names that haven’t turned into a map yet, and the naming pattern that keeps repeating.

Read from the experience’s own place list. Every map since the School has picked up a Hide And Seek place alongside it, not ahead of it; only the Mines never got a separate Free Roam place of its own. “Listed only” means the entry exists and nothing else official refers to it.

The pattern: a name shows up before the map does

The same shape has played out twice. Fnaf sat in the place list with an empty description for days before Update 3 renamed that entry Pizzeria and it became the fourth map, its Hide And Seek and Free Roam places arriving alongside it. Christmas did the same thing ahead of Update 4: the entry got renamed WhoVille - Escape, two more places arrived alongside it (WhoVille - Hide And Seek, WhoVille - FreeRoam), and it became the fifth map.

Maze and a newer entry, Minecraft, are sitting in the same spot Fnaf and Christmas sat in: named, empty description, no badge, no store pass. Going by the pattern above, that is where a map is most likely to come from next — but the pattern is not a promise, and neither name says what it will be.

Starting the Play Place loads Playpen

The Play Place map shipped under the badge name, Play Place, but in the recordings that show a round starting, the place it loads is called Playpen. One lobby screen is set to Mode: Survive · Play Place, and the loading screen after START GAME reads Playpen, from Scream And Run Studios. A second recording opens on the same Playpen loading screen and lands in the soft-play centre, with I need to find keys in these backpacks to escape. on screen and Ronald hunting. So Playpen was never a map waiting to open; it is where the Play Place is played.

What’s actually next

One announcement event has a start date that hasn’t arrived yet: Verity And New Map. It has no description, so it doesn’t say what map or who Verity is. Every event before it — for the Pizzeria and for WhoVille — carried no description either, right up until the map shipped.

Confirmed and not established

Confirmed

  • Fnaf became the Pizzeria; Christmas became WhoVille. Both are playable maps now.
  • Every map since the School picked up a Hide And Seek place alongside it, not ahead of it; only the Mines has no separate Free Roam place.
  • Starting a Play Place round has been recorded loading the place called Playpen.
  • Maze and Minecraft are in the place list with empty descriptions, no badge, no store pass — the same state Fnaf and Christmas were in before they shipped.
  • Verity And New Map is the one scheduled event that hasn’t opened yet.

Not established

  • Whether Maze or Minecraft will ever be playable, or when.
  • What Maze is, and what Minecraft is.
  • What map or monster Verity And New Map refers to.
  • Whether Bon Bon is one of the Pizzeria’s animatronics.
