Update log
Newest first. Each entry is tied to something checkable — a badge, a store pass, an official event — rather than to when somebody wrote a post about it.
A new event: Verity And New Map
Another announcement event was created, with no description, scheduled to open after The Grinch And New Map ends. It doesn't name a map or a monster.
Update 4: WhoVille
The experience was renamed Scream And Run [UPD 4] and a fifth map opened: WhoVille, a snowed-in house where you find five toys, return them to the fireplace and light five Christmas trees, in any order, while the Grinch works the same rooms. The entry that had been called Christmas now carries the WhoVille name, its Hide And Seek and Free Roam places came with it, two badges (You Escaped WhoVille and a no-power version) started counting, and the store added a monster pass for the Grinch and two throwables, a chair and a snowball.
A monster pass for Bon Bon
The store added “2x Chance To Play As Bon Bon”, the next monster pass after Ronald’s. Nothing on screen has yet named a Pizzeria animatronic, so the pass does not say which one it means.
Update 3: the Pizzeria
The experience was renamed Scream And Run [UPD 3] and a fourth map opened: the Pizzeria, a dark pizza parlour played against a clock from 12 AM to 6 AM, with three fuses to find, a Power Box and a gate. The entry that had been called Fnaf now carries the Pizzeria name, its Hide And Seek and Free Roam places (Walten Hide And Seek and Free Roam Walt) came with it, two badges were created, and a Remote Pass for the Pizzeria’s doors reached the store.
A badge called Error Code 000
A new badge named Error Code 000 was created with no description. Unlike every badge before it, nothing about its name ties it to a map, and its badge record does not say what earns it.
A new event: New Map And Monster
Another announcement event was created, titled New Map And Monster, with a window that opens as the New Map / New Monster window closes. It has no description, so it names neither the map nor the monster.
The [UPD 2] tag dropped, and a place called Fnaf
The experience’s name went back to plain Scream And Run, and a new entry called Fnaf appeared in its place list with an empty description. No badge, store pass or event names Fnaf, and none of those records says what it is.
Update 2: the Play Place, and Ronald
The experience was renamed Scream And Run [UPD 2] and a third map opened: the Play Place, an indoor soft-play centre with five keys, a screwdriver and a door of coloured locks. Its Hide And Seek and Free Roam places appeared the same day, the two Play Place badges created the day before started counting, and the store added a “2x Chance To Play As Ronald” pass for the new hunter.
Second “New Map / New Monster” event posted
A second event with the same title was created, with a later window. Both carry the note “Date Not Final”. The first window passed without the map appearing.
VIP pass added
Grants doubled odds on all monsters, the Free Roam spawn commands for the Cat and Thomas, and infinite lives in Escape mode.
A no-power badge for the Mines
You Escaped Mines With No Power was created the day after the Mines arrived, giving the dark version of the Mines its own badge.
Chapter two: the Mines, and Thomas
The Mines arrived with a second hunter — a spider-legged Thomas the Tank Engine — and its first badge, You Escaped Mines. The “2x Chance To Play As Thomas” pass was created the same day as the badge.
Badges added
The first two Escape badges were created, for escaping the school with and without the power on, making completion measurable for the first time.
Launch
The experience went live with the school chapter, the Cat in the Hat, and the three modes.
